This morning: A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect for portions of the western Florida Panhandle for Wind Chills forecast to drop below 25° and southeastern Alabama and portions of southwestern Georgia for wind chills forecast to drop below 20°. Tonight - Friday morning: A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect for the Florida Panhandle and Big Bend for Wind Chills forecast to drop below 25°.
There is a Freeze Warning for a Hard Freeze for temperatures at or below 25° across the area away from the immediate coast for Tonight into Friday morning.
Hazardous boating conditions are expected today for small craft, especially for the offshore waters (beyond 20 NM) from the Okaloosa-Walton County to Apalachicola, where a Gale Warning remains in effect.
Low (20%) Chance of Measurable Snow Sunday Morning. This is very much a "thread the needle" kind of event and lots of things will have to go right for us to get accumulating snow across our forecast area, more so than last January's snow event. So, changes can be expected to the forecast as we get a better handle on how things will ultimately evolve Sunday morning.
