There are several chances for showers and storms over the next several days. Currently, the best probabilities arrive Friday afternoon and evening. Stay weather aware as you head into the weekend.
Storms may be able to redevelop in the vicinity of the I-70 corridor this afternoon and evening (30-40% chance). The severe threat is highest south of I-70 and into central Missouri as storms move off to the southeast. Damaging winds and heavy rainfall are the main threats.
Two rounds of showers and storms are possible on Friday: first in the morning and again in the afternoon/evening. The severe threat is greatest with the afternoon/evening round, but uncertainty is high. Damaging winds and torrential rainfall are the main concerns with hail also being possible.
