Rain Chances Increase Late Week
Critical fire weather conditions are forecast once again on Monday due to the continued dry and breezy conditions. Wind gusts will increase out of the south to southwest and will peak at 30-35 mph during the afternoon. Wildfires may spread quickly in these conditions if they start, so take extra precautions to prevent fire starts!

Moisture is expected to increase across the region beginning mid week but will peak later this week into the next weekend. With a low pressure system setting up to the west of the area, this pattern is expected to provide rain chances to the Plains. Exact details are still uncertain, including the potential for severe storms, so check back for updates throughout the week.
