Middle Tennessee Weather History For March 2nd...
On March 2, 1997...The Red River is out of its banks due to heavy
rainfall. Local law enforcement reports 4 to 6 feet of water in the
Belmont Subdivision near Clarksville. Sixty homes are affected by
flooding in Montgomery County. A cooperative weather observer in
Clarksville reports about 5.25 inches of rain between March 1 and
March 3.
