
Extremely critical fire weather concerns for portions of the southern High Plans as strong wind and very dry conditions could result in rapid spread of any fires. As of November 2018, the Marquette National Weather Service (NWS) has added four new river monitoring sites to our Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service (AHPS) page. These gages are owned and operated by the United States Geological Survey (USGS), and the data is shared with the National Weather Service.
At this time, these sites are observations only and forecasts will not be provided. They also do not have established flood categories, but we would like to hear from you if you live near these (or any) waterways and see any flooding of infrastructure.
