Last Map Update: Thu, Apr 30, 2026 at 3:58:21 pm CDT

We are expecting rain at least on and off through Saturday evening.  Rainfall totals are expected in the 1-3" range, but could reach 5-6" in isolated areas.  The forecasted totals are shown in the right hand graphic with higher amounts generally north of I-10 and along the Mississippi coast; lower amounts are expected in southeast Louisiana south of I-10.
A system Friday into Saturday brings the potential for heavy rains. Rainfall rates could exceed 1-2 inches per hour and localized areas could see as much as 3 inches of total rainfall. This could lead to flash flooding, especially in urban areas. Stay safe!
