STATESVILLE NOAA WEATHER RADIO TRANSMITTER TEMPORARILY OFF THE AIR

The NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards transmitter broadcasting from
Statesville North Carolina and serving the Piedmont and northern
foothills of North Carolina will temporarily be off the air
through early next week due to an issue with the air conditioning
system. Service will be restored as soon as possible. We apologize
for any inconvenience this may cause our listeners.

Until the Statesville transmitter is restored to service, users
may instead tune into the Charlotte NWR transmitter, WXL-70 on a
frequency of 162.475 MHz or the Linville NWR transmitter, WNG-538
on frequency of 162.45 MHz.
