FEMA, in coordination with the FCC will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) on Wednesday August 7th at 1:20 PM CDT. This Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS) test will supersede the routine weekly tests of the NOAA Weather and All Hazards Radio, which are normally conducted on Wednesday`s at 11 A.M. and 7 P.M. The next NOAA Weather Radio weekly test will be conducted August 14th 2019 at 11 A.M. and 7 P.M. unless severe weather is in the forecast.
