Powerful Pacific Storm to Continue Impacting Northern California; Heavy Snow in the Appalachians and Portions of the Northeast

A strong atmospheric river will continue to impact northern California with heavy rain and life-threatening flooding through Friday. Unsettled weather is expected across much of the Northeast and Great Lakes over the next few days, including the likelihood of heavy snow in the central Appalachians and higher elevations of northeastern Pennsylvania and southern New York. A TOTAL OF FIVE HOG FARMS WERE DAMAGED BY STRONG WINDS.
TWO OF THE HOG FARMS WERE SIGNIFICANTLY DAMAGED WITH THE
ROOFS BLOWN OFF WITH DAMAGE TO THE SIDE OF THE
BUILDINGS. ANOTHER HOG FARM IS MISSING PART OF THE ROOF
WHILE THE OTHER TWO HOG FARMS HAD LESSER DAMAGE TO THEIR
ROOFS. ALL FIVE HOG FARMS ARE STILL STANDING BUT THERE
IS A LOT OF DEBRIS LAYING AROUND. NUMEROUS TREES WERE
BLOWN OVER. THE DEBRIS AND TREE DAMAGE WAS LOCATED ON
HIGHWAY 23 ON THE WEST AND EAST SIDES OF THE HIGHWAY.
