Meteorological data is collected at specific locations. These locations are called observing sites, observing stations or simply stations.. Stations are identified by an index number and/or a location indicator.
This page provides a means to find the physical information associated with an observing station by entering either a WMO numeric index number or ICAO four-character alphanumeric. The information provided includes the station identifiers, name, country, WMO region, station latitude and longitude, and elevation.
