A cold front will cross the Great Lakes and Northeast U.S. through Monday with gusty winds and areas of rain showers. Yap State consists of four volcanic islands plus 19 inhabited outer islands and atolls, with a total land area of 46 square miles. Two-thirds of its estimated 11,241 (est. 2000) population live on Yap Island. Yap is one of the most traditional island groups of the Pacific.
