Unsettled Weather in the Eastern U.S. through Memorial Day

Showers and thunderstorms are expected from Texas to the Northeast through Tuesday. Heavy rain will create mainly localized areas of flash flooding across the central Gulf Coast into the Appalachians. Elevated to Critical fire weather conditions due to gusty winds and low humidity are expected through Tuesday across Oregon and Nevada. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over the Northwest. Just find your closest station below and click the link.  Once you're there, click the tab on the right labeled "Climate Outlooks" to view a graphical depiction of the 8 to 14 Day Outlook from the Climate Prediction Center.  You'll also find outlooks for the next 6 to 10 days and up to one month on the same page.
