Tours Available

You Are Invited

Free tours are available to the Los Angeles/Oxnard office for schools and the general public. You will be shown the inner workings that go into the everyday operations of a weather forecast office.

Public tours are offered on specific dates only for individuals or small groups. See list below of currently available dates.

Mon March 9 at 1pm
Fri April 3 at 1pm*
Mon April 20 at 1pm*
Wed May 6 at 10am
Wed May 6 at 1pm

If you would like to book a tour on one of the available dates/times above, email our Tour Team at lox.tours@noaa.gov. Please include the date and time you would like to visit, your name and phone number, and the approximate size of your group. Dates with an asterisk (*) have limited seats available.

If you are teacher or school administrator looking to book a field trip or speaker for a large group, please contact our Tour Team (lox.tours@noaa.gov) for availability.

Please note that due to the nature of our operations, tours may need to be cancelled at the last minute if hazardous weather situations arise.
