No Specialized Experience is Needed - Everyone is Welcome!!
The National Weather Service Forecast Office in North Platte will be hosting virtual Winter Spotter talks. If you would like to assist your local community by becoming a volunteer winter storm spotter and reporting winter weather storm reports to the National Weather Service, or if you simply want to learn more about winter weather, consider attending one of our classes. There will be several classes offered this season with various times and dates. All classes are virtual and will last approximately 1 hour.
Attendees are taught the basics of winter weather safety, winter hazards, how to measure snowfall and ice accretion, and how to report storm reports to the National Weather Service.
Please register for one of the classes listed below, you will receive a confirmation email once you have registered.
