Tropical Depression Two is expected to gradually strengthen and could bring tropical storm conditions to the Florida Panhandle beginning late Monday. It's no surprise, but western Nebraska experienced one wet summer. North Platte (airport) recorded its 4th wettest June-July-August dating to 1875, while Valentine was nearly 3.5" above normal. Temperatures were more seasonable overall as warm overnight lows balanced out fairly mild daytime highs.
