It's no surprise, but western Nebraska experienced one wet summer. North Platte (airport) recorded its 4th wettest June-July-August dating to 1875, while Valentine was nearly 3.5" above normal. Temperatures were more seasonable overall as warm overnight lows balanced out fairly mild daytime highs.
