Back-to-Back Pacific Storms to Impact the West Coast; Heavy Snow in the Central Appalachians

Back-to-back powerful Pacific storm systems to impact the Pacific Northwest and northern California through the end of this week with heavy rain, flooding, strong winds, and higher elevation mountain snow. FOR NORTH PLATTE, THE AVERAGE DAILY MEAN TEMPERATURE FOR THE MONTH 
OF SEPTEMBER WAS 63.7 DEGREES WHICH WAS 1.4 DEGREES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 
62.3 DEGREES. THE AVERAGE DAILY HIGH TEMPERATURE FOR THE MONTH OF
SEPTEMBER WAS 81.2 DEGREES WHICH WAS 3.4 DEGREES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 
77.8 DEGREES. THE AVERAGE DAILY LOW TEMPERATURE FOR SEPTEMBER WAS 46.2
DEGREES WHICH WAS 0.6 DEGREES BELOW THE NORMAL OF 46.8 DEGREES. ONE DAILY
TEMPERATURE RECORD WAS TIED DURING THE MONTH OF SEPBEMBER. ON THE 23RD,
THE HIGH IN NORTH PLATTE REACHED 95 DEGREES, TYING THE RECORD SET ALSO
IN 1921. 

FOR VALENTINE, THE AVERAGE DAILY MEAN TEMPERATURE FOR THE MONTH OF 
SEPTEMBER WAS 64.3 DEGREES WHICH WAS 2.0 DEGREES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 
62.3 DEGREES. THE AVERAGE DAILY HIGH TEMPERATURE FOR SEPTEMBER WAS 81.3 
DEGREES WHICH WAS 4.0 DEGREES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 77.3 DEGREES. THE
