A wintry mix will continue in interior New England through tonight as a coastal storm quickly passes to the east. Heavy snow is expected in northern Maine, with a coating of ice expected for much of interior New England. The National Weather Service (NWS) Office in North Platte is excited to announce one additional storm spotter training session for the 2022 spotter season. This FREE training session is being offered in collaboration with our friends at the Niobrara National Scenic River (National Park Service) and Cherry County Emergency Management. All interested spotters are welcome to attend. Topics that will be covered are:
