Tropical Depression in the Gulf; Severe Thunderstorms Monday

Tropical Depression Two is expected to gradually strengthen and could bring tropical storm conditions to the Florida Panhandle beginning late Monday. Areas of flash flooding will be possible through Thursday along the eastern and central Gulf Coast. The National Weather Service (NWS) Office in North Platte is excited to announce one additional storm spotter training session for the 2022 spotter season. This FREE training session is being offered in collaboration with our friends at the Niobrara National Scenic River (National Park Service) and Cherry County Emergency Management. All interested spotters are welcome to attend. Topics that will be covered are:
