Valentine, while precipitation in August was well above normal for
North Platte and Valentine...

For North Platte, the average daily mean temperature for the month
of August was 72.6 degrees and was 0.5 degrees above the normal
of 72.1 degrees. The average daily high temperature for the month
was 83.5 degrees which was 2.6 degrees below the normal of 86.1 degrees.
The average daily low temperature was 61.7 degrees which
was 3.5 degrees above the normal of 58.2 degrees. No daily
temperature records were set during the month of August for North
Platte.

For Valentine, the average daily mean temperature for the month of
August was 72.9 degrees which was 0.1 degrees above the normal of
72.8 degrees. The average daily high temperature for
August was 84.9 degrees which was 2.1 degrees below the normal of
87.0 degrees. The average daily low temperature for the month
was 60.8 degrees which was 2.1 degrees above the normal of 58.7
