Heads up! Showers and thunderstorms return for the weekend, with the best chances for thunderstorms across Central MT. If recreating, be aware for lightning. Temperatures will also be cooler for the weekend. #MTwx

Breezy conditions are expected Friday through Sunday. There will be widespread wind gusts over 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph possible. These winds will especially impact those recreating in East Glacier park and on bodies of water. The main impacts will be difficult travel for high profile vehicles and those hauling trailers, choppy lake conditions for watercraft, and unsecured items getting blown around.
