A spring storm will move over the Northern Rockies through Thursday, bringing accumulating snow to all elevations. Winter Weather Advisories have been issued for portions of Southwest Montana where snowfall amounts are expected to cause disruptions to travel if caution is not exercised. A Winter Storm Watch remains in effect for Gallatin Valley and Gallatin, Madison, Gravelly, and Tobacco Root Ranges where uncertainty remains in both timing and amounts. Travelers should be prepared for a return to winter driving conditions, especially over mountain passes. Note that snowfall accumulations will vary significantly from road to grassy surfaces, especially during the daylight hours.
