Severe Weather and Heavy Rain Along the Central Gulf Coast; Pacific Storm in the Northwest

The Climate Prediction Center has released it's Winter Outlook for the 2020-21 season.

For central Indiana, there are equal chances for below normal, normal, and above normal temperatures for the winter season.

For central Indiana, odds favor above normal precipitation for the winter season. However, above normal precipitation does not necessarily mean above normal snowfall! At the moment, it appears that the above normal precipitation may not begin until the second half of winter. This means that drought conditions may persist into early January.
