Tropical Storm Imelda Forms; Another Round of Heavy Rain and Potential Flooding in the Southwest

Tropical Storm Imelda has formed near the Bahamas Sunday afternoon, and continues to bring heavy rainfall. The risk of significant wind impacts from Imelda along the Southeast coast are decreasing. Effective on or about December 16, the display of radar date on NWS websites will change. The use of Flash will be discontinued, and the display will take on a new look and feel. The display is optimized for both large and small screens.
