Tropical Storm Imelda Forms; Another Round of Heavy Rain and Potential Flooding in the Southwest

Tropical Storm Imelda has formed near the Bahamas Sunday afternoon, and continues to bring heavy rainfall. The risk of significant wind impacts from Imelda along the Southeast coast are decreasing. NWS Indy meteorologists will have a booth at this year's Celebrate Science Indiana, which will be at the Indiana State Fairgrounds Blue Ribbon Pavilion on October 1. Hours are from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM EDT.

Celebrate Science Indiana is a free festival that provides hands on STEM activities for kids of all ages. (Note that there is a $10 fee to park at the Fairgrounds).
