A Pacific storm is bringing areas of low elevation rain, moderate to heavy mountain snow, and high winds to the Northwest. Strong Santa Ana winds and very dry conditions are producing elevated to critical fire weather conditions in southern California. The remnants of subtropical storm Alberto moved into central Indiana on May 30, 2018. The subtropical storm was rare as it formed outside of the typical season. Also, the storm held its shape well inland. Some areas received over an inch of rain with this system, along with wind gusts near 40 mph. |
