
Scattered severe thunderstorms capable of damaging wind gusts and some hail are expected this afternoon and evening from the Upper Ohio River Valley into the Northeast, and from the Appalachians into the Mid-Atlantic States. September 27th and 29th Tornadoes
Two tornadoes caused minor damage in parts of central Illinois this past
weekend. The first tornado occurred Friday evening - September 27th - in
northeast Fulton County, IL on the leading edge of a line of severe storms.
The second tornado occurred Sunday afternoon - September 29th in extreme
northern Logan County, IL from a supercell thunderstorm.
