
A winter-like pattern will continue over much of the Lower 48 over the next few days, with snow stretching from the Rockies today into the Middle Mississippi Valley on Monday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along the Gulf Coast and Southeast on Monday. September 27th and 29th Tornadoes
Two tornadoes caused minor damage in parts of central Illinois this past
weekend. The first tornado occurred Friday evening - September 27th - in
northeast Fulton County, IL on the leading edge of a line of severe storms.
The second tornado occurred Sunday afternoon - September 29th in extreme
northern Logan County, IL from a supercell thunderstorm.
