A Pacific storm is bringing areas of low elevation rain, moderate to heavy mountain snow, and high winds to the Northwest. Strong Santa Ana winds and very dry conditions are producing elevated to critical fire weather conditions in southern California. September 27th and 29th Tornadoes
Two tornadoes caused minor damage in parts of central Illinois this past
weekend. The first tornado occurred Friday evening - September 27th - in
northeast Fulton County, IL on the leading edge of a line of severe storms.
The second tornado occurred Sunday afternoon - September 29th in extreme
northern Logan County, IL from a supercell thunderstorm.
