SEVERAL COLD AIR FUNNELS WERE OBSERVED ACROSS CENTRAL AND EAST
CENTRAL ILLINOIS MONDAY AFTERNOON. ONE OF THESE FUNNELS BECAME A
TORNADO WHEN IT TOUCHED DOWN 2 MILES WNW OF FISHER, ILLINOIS.

THE TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN JUST SOUTHEAST OF A FARMSTEAD AND
PROCEEDED TOWARD THE NORTHEAST. THE SOUTH WALL OF A MACHINE SHED
WAS BLOWN IN AND METAL PANELING FROM THE ROOF WAS PEELED AWAY AND
BLOWN INTO AN ADJACENT CORN FIELD. THE TORNADO LIFTED JUST EAST OF
ILLINOIS 47.
