Severe thunderstorms, with a significant wind threat, will continue through tonight across the northern Plains. Wind gusts of 60 to 100 mph are possible. Heavy rainfall will continue through tonight from Oklahoma into Missouri, and in the Tennessee Valley through Monday. Critical fire weather conditions continue in the Southwest through Tuesday. NWS Hastings – Regional Weather Summary Product Discontinuation

Effective, Monday, July 1, 2024, the Hastings, NE NWS Weather Forecast Office will discontinue issuance of the Regional Weather Summary (RWS) product. The last RWS product will be issued during the late afternoon of June 30, 2024.

The information contained within the RWS can be obtained through other NWS Hastings products, such as the Area Forecast Discussion (AFD), social media (X/Twitter and Facebook), the Weather Story and Graphicasts.
