A long-lived supercell thunderstorm slowly tracked south to southwestward across Beaver County, OK into Hemphill County, TX.  Preliminary information suggests this storm produced up to six weak tornadoes.  Storm spotters observed and photographed several of these brief tornadoes.  Others produced minor damage, and were confirmed through NWS surveys.  Several of the tornadoes were likely obscured by heavy rain and heavy, and resulted in intermittent damage paths.  During the late evening, additional severe storms developed along an advancing cold front.  These storms produced damaging straight line winds in the Pampa, TX area.
