Winter Storm continues over the West, pushing into the East Today

SYNOPSIS: A winter storm with significant continue to impact western Wyoming today. Snow showers will gradually shift east of the Divide today. Snow showers could be heavy at times. The most snowfall, east of the Divide, will probably occur in the Cody Foothills where several inches of snow is expected. Snow showers moving over the same area, could bring localized heavier snow east of the Divide. Snow will taper off from west to east late Sunday afternoon and evening.

IMPACTS:

Western Wyoming

Snowy and slick roads continue today and tonight
Reduced visibility in heavier snow

Interstate 80 Corridor in Sweetwater County & East of the Divide

Snow or slushy roads developing today and this evening in many locations
Severely reduced visibility in heavier snow
Significant blowing snow developing along Interstate 80 as strong west winds develop in wake of a cold front
