Tropical Depression in the Gulf; Severe Thunderstorms Monday

Tropical Depression Two is expected to gradually strengthen and could bring tropical storm conditions to the Florida Panhandle beginning late Monday. Areas of flash flooding will be possible through Thursday along the eastern and central Gulf Coast. The December 2017 climate summaries for Big Piney, Buffalo, Casper, Greybull, Lake Yellowstone, Lander, Riverton, Rock Springs, and Worland are now available online.

December 2017 was above normal, temperature-wise and much above normal for precipitaton for most areas. Only Rock Springs and Big Piney were drier than normal, both of which were also much warmer than normal. Big Piney saw it's warmest December on record.
