February of 2025 saw up and down temperatures and precipitation, especially across eastern Colorado, where a few polar intrusions brought periods of very cold temperatures and precipitation to southeast Colorado. For the month as a whole, above normal temperatures and below normal precipitation was experienced across south central Colorado, where as southeast Colorado saw generally below normal temperatures with near to slightly below normal precipitation.

The preliminary average temperature in Alamosa for the past month of February was 34.1 degrees. This is 9.8 degrees above normal and makes February of 2025 the warmest February on record, surpassing the 33.2F February average temperature in 1995. The average February maximum temperature in Alamosa was 52.8 degrees, which is 11.6 degrees above normal. The average February minimum temperature in Alamosa was 15.4 degrees, which is 8.0 degrees above normal.
