Dangerous Fire Conditions in the Southern High Plains; Severe Weather from the Great Lakes into Central/Southern Plains; Late-Season Mountain Snow

Dry and windy conditions will produce dangerous fire weather conditions across the southern High Plains into the Southwest. Severe storms, including very large hail, strong tornadoes, and winds, are expected from the Great Lakes into the central/southern Plains. Record high temperatures are in jeopardy of being broken from Wednesday through Saturday (March 18th - 21st). Forecast high temperatures in that period have a good chance of breaking the all time record high temperature for the month of March as well. Here are some statistics for our 3 primary climate sites: Pueblo, Colorado Springs and Alamosa.
