Heavy Rain and Flash Flooding in the West; Heat Expands in the Central U.S.

Monsoonal moisture will produce showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain over parts of the Southwest, Great Basin, and Central Rockies through Monday. Flash flooding is possible, especially in and around burn scars and in areas of steep terrain. We have now confirmed FIVE tornadoes from the tornadoes on Sunday evening, October 24th. Two EF-3s, two EF-1s, and another EF-0 tornado. The tornado track including St. Mary, MO and Chester, IL is up to a staggering 42.4 miles long!
