Record setting heat is expected over the next several days from the Intermountain West through the northern Plains. Furthermore, fire weather concerns increase with dry and breezy conditions. Meanwhile, heavy rainfall and severe thunderstorm threats for the Ohio/Tennessee Valleys, central Appalachians and Southeast today. ...Weekly NOAA Weather Radio Test To be Conducted Friday morning between 11 AM and Noon CDT... The weekly NOAA weather radio test is scheduled this week to be on Friday October 11th between 11 AM and Noon. This test is normally conducted on Wednesdays between 11 AM and Noon. We will return to this normally scheduled time for next week`s test, unless adverse weather occurs.
