The mean average temperature for the month was 50.8 degrees, which is 1.1 degrees above normal. 2.66 inches of liquid precipitation were recorded, which is 1.09 inches below normal. A trace of snow was recorded, which is 1.3 inches below normal. No daily or top ten monthly records were set for Chicago during this past April.
