A Pacific storm is bringing areas of low elevation rain, moderate to heavy mountain snow, and high winds to the Northwest. Strong Santa Ana winds and very dry conditions are producing elevated to critical fire weather conditions in southern California. Facts and Records:
June 30 had the warmest minimum temperatures for both
Chicago and Rockford since July 23, 2012.
With a low of only 76 on June 30, Rockford broke their
daily warm minimum record for the date of 74 set in 1913
and 1931.
With a low of only 80 on June 30, Chicago tied their
daily warm minimum record for the date of 80 set in 1931.
