After some morning showers and storms along and north of I-64, rounds of additional showers and storms are expected this afternoon into tonight. A few of the storms could become strong to severe, along with locally heavy rainfall possible.

Rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected today and tonight as a cold front approaches. Beneficial and widespread rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is expected for most, however a few spots may seen 2-3+". A few minor flood concerns could arise with the higher amounts.
