Active spring pattern across the center of our nation with several episodes of severe weather and heavy rainfall expected into next week. The potential for very large hail, long track tornadoes, severe wind gusts, frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes and flash flooding are in the outlook. Morning Lows Oct. 31 2023

Temperatures on the morning of Oct. 31, 2023 ranged from the low/mid 20s to 32 degrees across much of southern Indiana and central Kentucky. Through coordination with agricultural partners and neighboring offices, the Frost and Freeze Program has concluded for southern Indiana and central Kentucky areas served by the NWS in Louisville. The frost and freeze program will resume in the spring with the start of the growing season.
