Scattered severe thunderstorms capable of damaging wind gusts and some hail are expected this afternoon and evening from the Upper Ohio River Valley into the Northeast, and from the Appalachians into the Mid-Atlantic States. Morning Lows Oct. 31 2023

Temperatures on the morning of Oct. 31, 2023 ranged from the low/mid 20s to 32 degrees across much of southern Indiana and central Kentucky. Through coordination with agricultural partners and neighboring offices, the Frost and Freeze Program has concluded for southern Indiana and central Kentucky areas served by the NWS in Louisville. The frost and freeze program will resume in the spring with the start of the growing season.
