Severe thunderstorm and heavy rainfall threats will persist from the Midwest to Lower Great Lakes through Monday, shifting into the Ohio Valley and Central Appalachians Monday evening into Tuesday. The NOAA Weather Radio transmitters at Elizabethtown (162.550 MHz) and Ekron (162.450 MHz) may briefly go off the air today for preventative maintenance. The maps below indicate the coverage areas for these transmitters, which include parts of the Louisville Metro area. The transmitter in New Albany (162.475 MHz) still provides coverage for Louisville.
