A wintry mix will continue in interior New England through tonight as a coastal storm quickly passes to the east. Heavy snow is expected in northern Maine, with a coating of ice expected for much of interior New England. The NOAA Weather Radio transmitters at Elizabethtown (162.550 MHz) and Ekron (162.450 MHz) may briefly go off the air today for preventative maintenance. The maps below indicate the coverage areas for these transmitters, which include parts of the Louisville Metro area. The transmitter in New Albany (162.475 MHz) still provides coverage for Louisville.
