A group of 7 National Weather Service Louisville Meteorologists visited the TRIMARC Operations Center in Louisville on Wednesday January 22, 2020. Officials from KYTC District 5 were also part of the visit. After an informative presentation on TRIMARC's operations, capabilities, and partners the three agencies discussed ways to help each other out with respect to weather and travel concerns. The tour ended with a visit to the operations center where the group gained insight on what it takes to keep traffic moving as smoothly and safely as possible.
