A snow squall warning was also issued for areas along interstate 80 including Sutherland, Hershey and North Platte as white out conditions were seen for a short period of time. Here are a few pictures from Nebraska DOT cameras along I-80 during the time of the snow squall. A snow squall warning is a short duration event, for a small targeted area. Snow squall's are periods of moderate to heavy snowfall that area accompanied by gusty winds, this will create reduced visibilities and  whiteout conditions, creating dangerous impacts to driving. Pictured on right is interstate 80 near North Platte and pictured left is interstate 80 near Paxton.
