Seasonably cool and showery conditions are expected on Tuesday with 15-25% chances for isolated thunderstorms. Snow showers are possible as snow level rise from near around 5000 feet to 6500 feet Tuesday afternoon but accumulations will be limited to slushy conditions along higher Sierra passes. A warming and drying trend returns mid-week before another low pressure system provides more chances for showers and additional cooling this weekend.
