NWS Lincoln's First and Only Meteorologist-in-Charge Has Retired

The new year brings changes to our office, as our Meteorologist in Charge, Ernie Goetsch, has retired. Ernie was selected while the office was still under construction in 1994, and we have never had anyone else lead our operations. Congratulations on a well earned retirement!
