Nor'Easter Continues to Bring Heavy Rain and Coastal Impacts; Nolo Continues to Impact Hawaii

The nor’easter will weaken tonight, easing beach conditions and coastal flooding, though locally heavy rain will continue in parts of the Mid-Atlantic and New England into Monday. Hurricane Nolo continues to bring strong winds and large waves to Hawaii. A multi-day rain event will return to the Four Corners region Monday and expand to the south-central U.S. by midweek. An outage of NOAA Weather Radio station KZZ-65 in Bloomington is scheduled for today, February 13th. Technicians will be relocating the equipment at the transmitter site. The outage time is expected to only be a few hours. The transmitter will remain in the same area (Nord Farms site near the I-55/ Market St. interchange in Bloomington), so no changes in service area are expected.

De Witt County: WXJ-75 in Springfield (162.400 MHz) and WXJ-76 in Champaign (162.550 MHz)
McLean and Woodford Counties: WXK-24 in Odell (162.450 MHz) and WXJ-71 in Peoria (162.475 MHz)
Tazewell County: WXJ-71 in Peoria (162.475 MHz)
