Near record low temperatures last night across central and southeast Illinois gave a taste of fall. Many locations saw temperatures drop into the upper 30s for the first time this season. Canadian high pressure brought clear skies and light winds which are perfect conditions for cold nighttime readings. Some of the lows across the area include:
