The National Weather Service office in Lincoln will send out two storm survey teams on Thursday. One will be focused on areas from near Jacksonville northeastward, and the other focused on areas between Bloomington and Champaign. Due to the length of time needed to cover all areas, the surveys may need to continue into
Friday.

Final assessments, including results of the surveys, are expected to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information Statement by Thursday evening or Friday.

The storm survey information will also be available on our website at https://www.weather.gov/lincoln
