Fire Weather Concerns in the Southern Plains and Southeast; Pacific System to Bring Unsettled Weather to the West Coast

Gusty winds and dry conditions will continue to bring elevated to critical fire weather conditions to the southern Plains and Southeast early this week. A Pacific storm system will bring low elevation rain and heavy high elevation mountain snow to northern and central California through early week, expanding into the Pacific Northwest, Great Basin, and southern California on Tuesday. 2021 Schedule

Spotter Training Classes are back in 2021 and yes, these will still be virtual this year. We are trying something different with the virtual sessions by targeting certain areas of western Colorado and eastern Utah to get a more focused response for sign ups. These courses are FREE and even though certain dates are for targeting various areas, anyone is welcome to register and attend for any of the dates. The registration links are unique to each session. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. We hope to “see” you there!
