
A major winter storm will shift its impacts into the Northeast U.S. with heavy snow through tonight while over the Mid-Atlantic, sleet and freezing rain will diminish. Extremely cold air behind the storm will prolong dangerous travel and infrastructure impacts. Severe Weather Spotter and Safety Classes Spotter Training Classes are back in 2021 and yes, these will still be virtual this year. We are trying something different with the virtual sessions by targeting certain areas of western Colorado and eastern Utah to get a more focused response for sign ups. These courses are FREE and even though certain dates are for targeting various areas, anyone is welcome to register and attend for any of the dates. The registration links are unique to each session.
