Heavy rainfall capable of causing flash flooding will continue to impact Hawaii through Monday. Severe thunderstorms and heavy rain are possible in parts of Texas and the southern Plains and the Upper Great Lakes. The National Weather Service Forecast Office in Grand Junction, Colorado operates eight All-Hazards NOAA Weather Radio (NWR) transmitters across western Colorado and eastern Utah. For weather radio stations in surrounding states, click here. These transmitters broadcast official National Weather Service warnings, watches, forecasts and other hazard information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The broadcasts can be heard on special weather radios (image) available at many retail stores, or on a typical police/fire scanner or marine radio.
