Tropical Depression in the Gulf; Severe Thunderstorms Monday

Tropical Depression Two is expected to gradually strengthen and could bring tropical storm conditions to the Florida Panhandle beginning late Monday. Areas of flash flooding will be possible through Thursday along the eastern and central Gulf Coast. This just in: More virtual spotter training classes have been announced for August of 2022, due to continued requests. These classes will be virtual using Google Meet. Here are the dates (ALL VIRTUAL THROUGH GOOGLE MEET):

1. Friday, August 19: 10 am – 12 pm (noon) MDT.

2. Friday, August 26: 10 am – 12 pm (noon) MDT.

A link to the Google Meet spotter training will be sent to those who register closer to the class date.
