Severe Weather and Heavy Rainfall from the Midwest to the Ohio Valley; Mid-Summer Heat Continues

Severe thunderstorm and heavy rainfall threats will persist from the Midwest to Lower Great Lakes through Monday, shifting into the Ohio Valley and Central Appalachians Monday evening into Tuesday. This just in: More virtual spotter training classes have been announced for August of 2022, due to continued requests. These classes will be virtual using Google Meet. Unfortunately, we were not able to arrange any in person classes at this time. If you are interested, you can sign up using this form: https://forms.gle/makXBt56dAdSWoi88.

Here are the dates (ALL VIRTUAL THROUGH GOOGLE MEET):

1. Friday, August 19: 10 am – 12 pm (noon) MDT.

2. Friday, August 26: 10 am – 12 pm (noon) MDT.

A link to the Google Meet spotter training will be sent to those who register closer to the class date.
