Record Warmth Lingers; Fire Weather Concerns; Unsettled Pacific Northwest

More record warm temperatures are forecast this week from California, Southwest, Plains then into the Mississippi Valley and Southeast. The warmth combining with dry conditions may result in elevated to locally critical fire weather conditions. This just in: More virtual spotter training classes have been announced for August of 2022, due to continued requests. These classes will be virtual using Google Meet. Unfortunately, we were not able to arrange any in person classes at this time. If you are interested, you can sign up using this form: https://forms.gle/makXBt56dAdSWoi88.

 

Here are the dates (ALL VIRTUAL THROUGH GOOGLE MEET):    

1. Friday, August 19: 10 am – 12 pm (noon) MDT. 

2. Friday, August 26: 10 am – 12 pm (noon) MDT.

 

A link to the Google Meet spotter training will be sent to those who register closer to the class date.
