Powerful Winter Storm from the Upper Midwest into the Northeast; Severe Thunderstorms in the Midwest and Ohio Valley

A rapidly-intensifying storm is expected to bring heavy snow, blizzard conditions, and icing from the Upper Midwest through the Great Lakes and Northeast. Smoke Forecast Over Utah and Colorado

Smoky conditions will continue over portions of western Colorado and over northeast Utah. Below is a forecast of the expected drift of smoke plumes through tomorrow. Above normal temperatures will remain in place but relief may be on the way as moisture increases over the next few days and afternoon showers and thunderstorms increase.
