Harlan Harrison, Sr., was recently awarded the Edward H. Stoll Award near his home in Mexican Hat, Utah. Mr. Harrison and family have been taking daily weather readings for the National Weather Service's Cooperative Observer Program (COOP) for over 50 years! These readings include various weather observations such as daily high and low temperatures, precipitation, snowfall, and snow depth. Mr. Harrison is the proud custodian of a rare, old wooden rain gauge stand, shown here. Congratulations go out to Harlan and family!
